Angola: KPMK, NGO Sign Deal to Reduce Malnutrition

A partnership accord meant to reduce malnutrition in Angola was signed on Tuesday, in Luanda, by the Angolan Foment Bank (BFA), KPMK firm and the Non-Government Organisation Criskari, Angop has learnt.

Named Projecto Qualidade de Vida (Living quality project), the programme has the collaboration of the Health Ministry and has been chosen by the Government as one of the models of Key Family Practices of Nutritional Qualification for communities facing mal-nutrition.

It may take place between September 2008 and March 2010 and is divided into three cycles of six months. Its geographical definition will be associated to the Health Ministry.

The project worth USD 740,000 and is to start in the Southern Huila Province, comprising about 7,500 mothers and over two million children.
