KAMPALA Kids League (KKL) hammered Danish Academy FC Sonderburg 7-2 as the Football Festival Elite Boys U-16 tournament started on Monday.

Defending champions KKL, who were given the honour of launching the tournament on the main stadium pitch, dominated the proceedings.

Four second half goals from Julius Ssenoga plus strikes from Ibrahim Juma, Dennis Guma and Emma Magembe handed KKL the win.

KKL will face two tough group games against Swedish and Norwegian academies later.

At the same time, The Uganda Youth Sports Academy (UYSA) are competing in U-14 Premier Cup. UYSA started with a 5-2 victory over Danish side Boldklub.
