Benguela — Transports minister Augusto Tomás arrived last Tuesday in the central Benguela Province, where he started a work visit aimed at learning about the functioning of the companies of his sector in this region.
According to the programme, during his three day-stay in the province, Augusto Tomás will visit the hospital belonging to Benguela's Railway Company (CFB) and also learn about the pace of the works carried out in Benguela' railway, as well as hand over transportation means to the institution.
The programme also includes visits to "CR20" camp, the works of the bridge over Cavaco river, one Benguela Railways station, the airports of Benguela and Catumbela districts, the Port of Lobito, Comandante Nzaji professional training centre, Lobito Port Authority and the provincial transports department.
The last day of his visit is reserved for a travel to Cubal district, 171 kilometres away from Benguela City, aimed at visiting infrastructures linked to his governmental department.
