The new board of directors of the Provincial Staking Association of Luanda (APPL) for the 2009-2012 quadrennial period shall be elected this Wednesday, at 05pm, in fulfilment of the law (87/03) of the National Sports Department, which urges the holding of the election.

Only one list, led by the outgoing chairperson Hirondino Garcia, competes for the elections, in what shall be his second mandate ahead of the destines of the sport in the country's capital.

The electoral commission is being led by Carlos Frades, who only received one list during the campaign period.

Voters comprise the teams of Académica de Luanda, Grupo Desportivo da Banca, Hóquei 2000, Petro de Luanda and Juventude de Viana.
