Huambo — The Association of Female Journalists of Angola (AMUJA) will donate, next weekend, basic commodities to disadvantaged pregnant women at the Central Hospital of Huambo, in light of the commemorations of the Pan-African Women's Day, July 31.
Before the donation of used clothes and hygiene material, the women will take part in a garden-watering campaign so as to contribute to the government's efforts of recovering green areas of the city.
A debate on the electoral conduct code and the role of female journalists in covering the elections, as well as a dinner are also part of AMUJA's programme in central Huambo province.
This initiative aims at boosting AMUJA's activity in the region, with view to create better working conditions and for the aforementioned women to actively participate in socio-economic activities of the province.
