The outgoing Spanish ambassador Javier Vallaure, on Tuesday in Luanda reaffirmed his country's willingness in continuing to support Angola in its process of reconstruction and development, whenever and wherever the local authorities need collaboration.
Javier Vallaure expressed this reassurence at a ceremony that served for him to officially say goodbye to government officials, other diplomats, politicians and other personalities, after a three-year diplomatic mission to Angola.
In his speech, the Spanish ambassador said his mission in this country was fascinating, mainly because he has been a witness of the progress Angola has been making to gain more and more space in the international arena.
Javier Vallaure also highlighted the fact that the Angolan reconstruction and reconciliation process will be crowned with legislative elections, scheduled for next September 05, after a stoppage of some years.
With this, he added, Angola will consolidate its credibility as a democratic country, as well as in the international community.
"This is the moment of this great nation and it can not lose the opportunity history offers".
Javier Vallaure reminded that from an early stage Spain has always been at the side of Angolans and assumed the principles of mutual respect and solidarity.
