Four people died in a road accident between Otavi and Otjiwarongo on Sunday night, the Police spokesperson in the Otjozondjupa Region told The Namibian yesterday.
Detective Sergeant Wilka Abel said a Jeep Cherokee crashed into the back of a trailer pulled by a Ford Bantam about 60 km from Otavi.
The deceased were identified as Asser Ndjamba (32), Rudolf Masaku (39), Olavi Shivute (age not given) and Kert Kahuma (23).
Five others were taken to a hospital in Windhoek and are in critical condition.
