The Brave Warriors drew 1-1 against Lesotho in their second match in the Cosafa Senior Challenge Cup in Mphumalanga, South Africa last night.
Namibia led 1-0 at half-time after midfielder Jamu Ngatjizeko scored, but Lesotho got an equaliser with seven minutes to go before the end of the match.
Namibia won their opening match 3-0 against the Comoros Island on Sunday.
The draw yesterday now puts Namibia at four points and in second spot in Group B, with Malawi, topping the group with six points after they also beat the Comoros Islands 1-0 yesterday.
Namibia Football Association (NFA) president John Muinjo yesterday said, 'the destiny of Namibia to make it to the next stage lies in the hands of the players as they only need to beat Malawi.' Namibia has scored four goals, compared to two by Malawi and a win will see them through.
