Freetown — Leone Stars' Finland-based striker, Sam Obi Metzger Jr. on Sunday helped his side Atlantis FC to a 1-1 draw against AC Oulu in the Ykkonen Finnish division two league.

Metzger Jr.'s goal came three minutes after M. Konate's goal put AC Oulu on the lead in the 33rd minute in the first half of the match. Metzger Jr.'s goal in the 36th minute leveled the score line.

The result raised the Sierra Leonean striker's team to a place above the relegation zone as they now occupy the 12th position with nine points from 11 games played.

The match played at home to Atlantis FC was their fourth draw in a row having drew their previous matches against GrIFK Grankulla 2-2, KaPa Helsinki 0-0 and TP 47 Tornio 0-0.

However, the striker will have another opportunity to get his name on the score sheet for the second time in a row as they face JJK Jyvaskyla tomorrow July 23.
