The US undersecretary for Economic, Energy and Agricultural Affairs, Reuben Jeffery, expressed on Tuesday in Luanda his impression at the economic growth of Angola.

Speaking to the press after the audience granted to him by Angolan prime minister, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, the US politician highlighted the development in the economic and agricultural sectors.

According to Reuben Jeffery, during the audience, he also learned about the work that Angola has been carrying out in fighting diseases like malaria, cholera and tuberculosis.

To Reuben Jeffery, the private sector should cooperate with the State, as the country is in peace, in order for Angola to achieve levels of sustainable development.
