Liberia: Ellen Congratulates Belgium On Natal Day

The President of Liberia, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, has sent a message of congratulations to the King and people of the Kingdom of Belgium on the auspicious occasion marking the kingdom of Belgium National Day.

In the message sent over to King Albert, II, President Johnson Sirleaf conveyed heartiest congratulations and sincerest best wishes on behalf of the government and people of Liberia, and in her own name to the Kingdom of Belgium.

A release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Liberian leader also expressed the hope that as the people of Belgium celebrate another milestone in their national history, the long standing relations subsisting between Liberia and the Kingdom of Belgium will be further strengthened and cemented in the years ahead as both countries fulfill their respective obligation in the realization of the aims and objectives.

According to the release under the signature of Josephus M. Gray, Assistant Foreign Minister for Public affairs, the Liberian leader further observes with admirations the level of development that has characterized Belgium over the years.

President Sirleaf then prayed that Almighty God will endow King Albert II with wisdom and continued good health as he leads the people of Belgium to greater prosperity.
