Angola: Western Sahara Diplomat Wishes Successful Elections

Luanda — The ambassador of Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic to Angola, Lucha Mohamed Lamin, Wednesday congratulated the Angolan people on the success achieved in domains of the country's national reconciliation and reconstruction, wishing a successful legislative polls September 5 this year.

Speaking at the end of an audience granted by the National Assembly Speaker, Roberto de Almeida, to whom he presented the courtesy meeting at his starting mission, the Arabic diplomat seized the occasion to thank the Angolan authorities for the support extended "to fair cause of Saharawi people".

On the same day, Roberto de Almeida also met with the Spanish ambassador to Angola, Francisco Javier Valloure, from whom he received farewell greetings for the end of his three-year term to the African country.

Francisco Valloure said he is taking from Angola big remembrance of his mission, the strength of the Angolan people's will "aimed at turning the page, moving forward and fighting for their development and well-being".
