Afribank Nigeria Plc, has received the 'Best Supportive Bank' Award from the management of Omatek Computers Plc.

The award was presented to AfriBank by Omatek to mark its 21 years of computing business in Nigeria.

The bank emerged the winner of the award among other financial institutions for its outstanding support initiatives in the implementation of the 'Computer for All Initiative' programme of the federal government.

Managing Director/CEO of Omatek Computers, Mrs. Florence Seriki, stated that Afribank support, has aided the firm's expansion, arising from its ability to finance consumer schemes, recruit showrooms, appoint franchises and open service centres pan- Nigeria. It also helped the firm to increase its local contents.

Afribank has in the last one year partnered Delta, Abia, Cross Rivers, Ogun States and Auchi Polytechnic in conjunction with Omatekc Computers for the provision of computer sets for civil servants and staff of the institution.
