Lokomotiv of Moscow forward, Osaze Odemwingie was the only overage player named in the 22-man squad by Nigerian Olympic team coach, Samson Siasia yesterday for the 2008 Beijing Olympics in China.

The final list,which was forwarded to FIFA and kit makers, adidas yesterday had both Hapoel Tel Aviv goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama and Getafe forward, Ike Uche dropped from the earlier 26-man preliminary squad named for the Game last week before their departing for a training tour of South Korea, after it became clear that neither player would be released by their respective clubs.

The final Olympic bound squad players are Ambrose Vanzekin, Chibuzo Okonkwo, Taye Taiwo, Onyekachi Apam, Ayodele Adeleye, Monday James, and Chinedu Ogbuke Obasi

Others include: Sani Kaita, Obinna Nsofor, Isaac Promise, Solomon Okoronkwo, Olufemi Ajilore and Adefemi Olubayo. Efe Ambrose, Victor Anichebe, Emmanuel Ekpo and Ikechukwu Ezenwa also made the list.

The four alternate players are goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi, Olufemi Oladapo, Bernard Okorowanta and Solomon Abwo.

Meanwhile, the Super Falcons team list was returned to the coaches after 24 players were named in the squad, instead of the required 22.
