Angola: Environment Ministry Holds Seminar on Climate Changes

The Urbanisation and Environment Ministry (Minua) organises as from this Thursday in Luanda, the first national seminar on "Vulnerability and Adaptation to Climate Changes".

According to a press release that ANGOP had access to, the forum will gather senior technicians and officials from various ministerial departments, aimed at assessing the vulnerability and adaptation to the effects of climate changes.

The event will be divided in two sessions, the first is a technical one to take place at the premises of Angola Geographical and Survey Institute (IGCA) and a top meeting happening on 28 July at Tropico Hotel.

With this event, Minua intends to promote exchange of knowledge between technicians and politicians in areas of planning, management of natural resources, environment, territory administration and management of disasters.

The lectures at the seminar are to be given by Angolan and foreign specialists from Guinea Bissau and El Salvador.
