Malanje — The general commander of the National Police, general commissioner Ambrósio de Lemos is expected this Thursday, in northern Malanje province, where he will work for two days to assess the functioning of institutions of the Home Affairs Ministry in the region.
ANGOP learnt from a communiqué of the corporation that on his arrival at Cacuso district, by road, the general commander Ambrósio de Lemos will assess the site where the future Eastern Regional Centre of the Police shall be built, followed by a visit to the police station on Lombe (Cacuso), 22 kilometres from Malanje city, provincial capital.
The document refers that in the region's capital, Ambrósio de Lemos shall be received by the provincial governor, Cristóvão da Cunha, followed by a meeting with staff of the Home Affairs Ministry, in order to analyse the operational situation.
On the same day, the top officer of the National Police shall hand over vehicles to the provincial command, as well as visit the construction works of police stations of Canâmbua and Carreira de Tiro wards.
The Police general commander is expected to return to the country's capital, Luanda, on Friday.
