SOME 16 schools from within Oshakati and the immediate surroundings will participate in the Build It company's under-13 football tournament this Saturday at the Okandjenghedi school.
The organiser of the tournament, Cornelius 'Yoyo' Dominicus said that it will be the second edition of the Build It-sponsored Oshakati under-13 football tournament.
The building materials' company has decided to fund it on an annual basis.
Participation is free of charge, while participating schools' teams will win themselves various prizes at the end of the tournament.
Each player from the winning school's team will be awarded a trophy, sports gear and a sports bag, while players of the runners-up school's team will also receive the same prizes.
Build It has taken the initiative to sponsor under-13 football event for schools situated within the areas where the company is doing business.
Apart from Oshakati, the company also sponsored an under-13 football tournament for schools at Ondangwa last Saturday.
