Borussia Dortmund has rejected an offer from Hull City for Bafana Bafana winger Delron Buckley.

The Tigers have been told to up their offer of around R4.5-million if they hope to secure Buckley's services and a revised offer is expected in the coming week.

"It is not really what we are expecting," said Dortmund's director of sport Michael Zorc.

Buckley impressed during his two week trial at Hull City, but has since returned to pre-season training with Dortmund and set up a goal in their friendly win over Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
