Zambian defender Clive Hachilensa has surprisingly moved to First Division side African Warriors just a year after deserting Free State Stars for Finland club, IFK Mariehamn.

Hachilensa who has recently been playing back in his native at ZESCO United has signed a one year deal with Warriors, scotching earlier reports that he would be heading for newly promoted Bay United.

However, Hachilensa is yet to join the team for pre-season training as he is in camp with the Chipolopolo Boys preparing for Sunday's Cosafa Senior Challenge quarter-final against neighbours Zimbabwe.

Isaac Tshabalala, a director at Warriors, informs KickOff.com says they have completed a one-season deal with the 28-year-old.

Hachilensa spent six months in Finland last year before returning to play for Zambia at the African Nations Cup. Since then he has also had unsuccessful trials with Ukraine club FC Spal before returning to play for ZESCO.

Tshabalala adds that they have also signed Zakia Makoanyane whose contract was not been renewed by Free State Stars.
