Kampala Pentecostal Church ( KPC) has always set the agenda in urban Christian entertainment and this weekend, the Bombo Road house of worship will have two of its acts I4C (Icons for Christ) and Ha Ha Ha Fun House delight anyone with an eye for sanitised dance routines seasoned with palatable rib-cracking jokes.

At the heart of both Christian entertainment institutions is a burning desire to glorify Christ. I4C comprises passionate young people who love to "dance for the Lord" while Ha Ha Ha is a comedy Christian group that features Power FM/ Theatre Factory stand-up comic Pablo and the hilarious Salongo, a comedian well-known in KPC circles.

"Our dream is to sing, dance and act God's love into people's lives," says I4C Team Leader, Julius Mukiza. "It's more than entertainment. We want to challenge our audiences to have life and live it to the full."

Ha Ha Ha's Julius Anuari says revellers should expect to laugh and be sobered up. "Our jokes are funny but also loaded with a message," he says.

14C will be doing its annual routine of putting on a show at KPC as they have done in the past five years making them byword for hallowed dance that blends contemporary urban styles with African flavours.
