Kampala — Former Cranes coach Laszlo Csaba has offered compensate for the three-months notice he didn't accord Fufa before joining Hearts.
Under the contract, either party was supposed to give a three-month notice. The offer has been mooted through his Ugandan lawyers Muwema & Mugerwa Advocates and Solicitors and he has offered to pay Fufa $19,990 or Shs32.5m.
Speaking at a press conference at Sheraton Hotel yesterday morning, Fred Muwema, who represented the firm, said that Csaba's reconciliatory move is the best option for Ugandan football.
"Let Fufa furnish us with their account details so that we can deposit the money in question. There is no need to pursue this any further because the loser of this case can clearly be identified from its onset," Muwema said. "Csaba can be of importance to the future of Ugandan football, creating harmony is the way forward."
Muwema, however, said that Csaba was ready to file his defence and show evidence that Fufa had failed to perform primary obligations which amounted to fundamental breach of contract.
He alleged that Fufa had issued bounced cheques, was inconsistent in payment of Csaba's salary, failed to get him a work permit and did not pay his medical, water and electricity bills.
