Uganda: 12 Win Etop Bicycles

Kampala — AS it celebrates 18 years of existence, the Ateso weekly newspaper, Etop, has given out 12 bicycles to its readers.

Over 20 readers also received sh100,000 each in the ongoing 'Win with Etop' promotion.

Those who received bicycles were Simon Peter Olupot of Soroti town, Nathan Otalio Asamuk of Amuria, Nobert Asio Mukura of Kumi and Ben Morulem of Katakwi district.

Others were Pampas Okidor (Katakwi), Simon Eteku (Soroti) Peter Egwangu (Soroti) and Deborah Aolo (Kumi).

Moses Emuron (Jinja), Jennet Aliero (Soroti), Dominic Onyait (Soroti) and John Michael Engwaru Otuboi also won bicycles.

Etop Editor Ibrahim Ogaram said the promotion was aimed at rewarding the redaers of the newspaper.

"There are more prizes to be won. We are giving back to our readers and appreciate their support since 1990 to date," Ogaram said.

Ogaram added that the readers have to get coupons in the newspaper and fill in their name, telephone numbers and physical addresses.

The coupons are then dropped at collection centres that are published in the newspaper .

The final weekly draw will be held on July 28 in Soroti town. Etop is published in Ateso by the Vision Group on Thursdays.
