Mohamed Kamara of No. 14 Campbell Street in Freetown was yesterday refused bail by magistrate Bankole Shyllon of court No. 3 for allegedly stealing a motorbike worth Le 3,500,000.

Complainant Moriba Senesie told the court that on April 22, 2008 Kamara collected a bike with registration number ADM 510 which he signed for as a guarantor to the bike owner Julius Alli.

He said the bike was to be used by Kamara for commercial purpose.

The prosecutor sergeant H.B Sesay said the matter was being investigated personnel at the New England Ville police station.

Magistrate Shyllon denied a bail request for the defendant and adjourned the matter to July 30.
