Angola: Caló Pascoal Performs in São Tomé in Tribute Concert

The Angolan renowned musician Caló Pascoal announced this Friday, in Luanda, that he will participate in São Tomé & Príncipe in two concerts in homage to the late famous São Tomean singer Camilo Domingos, to take place in August.

Speaking to ANGOP, Caló Pascoal informed that he was invited by the company Gibela Produções, adding that the first show will be held in São Tomé City and the second in Príncipe, where the Angolan female singer Melvy is also expected to perform.

"I'll travel there on 07 August for two concerts. It'll be a festival named Show Camilo Domingos, in which I'll sing the promotional songs of my new album (called) Esperança Sagrada. ( ) I'll also be there with Melvy and (DJ) Nelo Dias", the artist explained.

The event will also count on the performances of the renowned Cape Verdean singer Jorge Neto.

Meanwhile, Caló Pascoal informed that before he travels to São Tomé, he will perform on Saturday in the north-eastern Lunda Norte Province, at the invitation of the shows promoting company "Plataforma e Eventos".
