Two people died and 17 others were injured following 21 accidents registered from July 14 to 21 on the roads of the Huambo and Caála districts.

These accidents correspond to an increase of over two cases in comparison to the previous period.

According to a communiqué from the National Police of the central Huambo province, delivered to ANGOP this Friday, the accidents were characterised by collisions between automobile vehicles, off-tracking, collision between motorcars and motorcycles, collision against fixed obstacles and run over.

Over speeding, lack of precaution and irregular overtaking, according to the note, were the main causes of these accidents.
