The Angolan deputy minister of Social Communication, Manuel Miguel de Carvalho "Wadijimbi", said Thursday in Lisbon, Portugal, that the creation of the Public Television (TPA)'s International Channel is part of the country's natural development, particularly the media, as a result of six years of peace.

"Wadijimbi" was speaking during the official presentation of TPA's third channel, named "TPA Internacional", a ceremony that was held in the "Coliseu dos Recreios" centre, in Lisbon.

" We've entered a phase of national reconciliation and, consequently, we've created all the conditions for the country to have a normal development, so the media sector must not be lagged behind", stressed the official, dding that with this channel there will be more information about the achievements in Angola broadcast at international level.

The first broadcast of the TPA international channel will happen on July 28, initially in Europe only. It will be available in Cable and Satellite television broadcast services.
