Super Falcons coach Joseph Ladipo (Jossy Lad) says he is confident that the players he has picked to represent the country at next month's Olympic Games in Beijing are good enough to hold their own against the best in the world.
"I believe that these players can do the country proud," Ladipo told KickOffNigeria.com.
"It was not easy to select the players because we have some very good, hardworking players in the team. But the rules say that we can only take 18.
"I know the ones who did not make it will be disappointed, but they gave their best and they should be proud of that. Next time may be their turn."
Ladipo's final squad is led by current African Player of the Year Cynthia Uwak, and her predecessor Perpetua Nkwocha.
