The Constitutional Court (TC) will hand over the definitive list of political parties, who will run in next September 05 legislative elections, to the National Electoral Commission (CNE) next Monday.

Addressing the press on Friday, the TC advising judge, Luzia Sebastião, stated that the Court continues analysing the complaints submitted by the political parties and coalitions whose candidatures have been turned down.

The judge pledged that the Constitutional Court has been making significant efforts in re-analysing the files of the candidatures.

After definitive delivery of the list of competing political parties for the 05 September legislative elections, the National Electoral Commission will hold a draw in three-day time to determine the position of each political party on the ballot paper.
