Luanda provincial governor, Francisca do Espírito Santos, Friday here invited women belonging to the United Methodist Church to take part in a peaceful march, scheduled for 31 July, to celebrate African Women's Day.

The provincial governor, who was speaking at a church service, during her visit to the religious institution at Neves Bendinha suburb, in Kilamba Kiaxi district, said that the march is also aimed at sensitising Luanda residents for a massive participation in next 05 September legislative elections.

The event will start from Kinaxixi square, to Cidadela sport complex.

She also urged the ladies to develop habits for regular medical assistance and collaborate in basic sanitation.
