Ghanaian striker Ibrahim Salou has joined German Second Division club MSV Duisburg.

The 29-year-old signed a two-year contract with the club who are seeking a quick return to the Bundesliga following their relegation last season.

Salou moves from Belgian side Club Brugge after being told he is surplus to requirements.

He went on trials with Duisburg last week and the coaches were pleased with his performance and offered him a contract.
