Fullback Adefemi Olubayo is confident that Dream Team IV will do well despite failing to have the services of two of the short listed over-aged players.

Goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama and forward Ike Uche were prevented from making the final squad by their respective European clubs, but Olubayo says the team can do well without them.

"They are our seniors and we respect them, but they have not played with us before so I believe we can do well.

"We know they have a lot of experience and they would have added something to the team, but we have done well so far without them so we can't say we are missing anything.

"It would have been good to have them with us, but it is unfortunate that they can't be here and we have to move on and do our best. We have very good players in the team and we have a coach that we all believe in, so we know we can do well."

Olympic gold medal winner Garba Lawal told KickOffNigeria.com on Wednesday that the current class of 2008 will need team spirit and luck to repeat the feat of the '96 class', and Adebayo says the team is well aware of that.

"We know this, trust me, and we are doing our best," he said. "It's like a family here. You know some of us have been playing together for a long time now.

"And all the new ones who have just joined us are welcomed and made to feel like they have been here from the beginning. We will just do our best to continue in that spirit."
