Sierra Leone Library Gets a Helping Hand

The Sierra Leone Library in Freetown on July 24 got a donation of shelves to help it cope with the inadequacy of displaying facilities.

The Iranian Cultural Consulate donated shelves to the library which were received by Mr. Sallieu Turay Deputy Chief Librarian and Mr. Victor B. Cocker Chief Librarian. They both thanked the Iranian Cultural Consulate Mohamed Reza Ghezel Sofla for Iran's commitment to the development of Sierra Leone. It also indicates the strength of relationship between the two countries" , Mr. Turay said.

A month ago, the Cultural Centre donated books ranging from Science to novels to the Library.
