Kampala — JAMAICAN-BORN raggae star Shaggy will come to Uganda to crown the winner of the Passa Passa dance competition.
Shaggy will also perform at the event next Saturday where revellers will pay sh25,000 and sh50,000 for standard and silver tickets. The competition has been running for over six weeks.
Harry Mwanje, the brand manager of Pilsner Lager, the organisers of the competition, says they have partnered with six clubs to stage Shaggy Nites in the run-in to the show. The clubs are Club Palui, Ange Noir, Cascades, The Loius, Club S&S and Club Sway.
During the events, Shaggy's music videos will be played, Pilsner beer served and complimentaries to the show given out. The last event will take place at Cascades next Friday and Shaggy is expected to attend.
