Kigali revelers as well as Rwandans in general were last week treated to international performances during the Pan-African dance festival (Fespad) held in the country.
The Jamaican born duo songsters- Brick and Lace who staged two performances in the country kept the crowd screaming for more.
The two songbirds had their first performance under what was called the "Jungle Party" in Lake Kivu Serena Hotel in western Rwanda. The Kenyan star Red Sun performed as curtain raiser before the duo jumped to the stage.
The second show by Brick and Lace was staged in Kigali on Sunday to mark the kick off of Fespad. The other contemporary musicians, who graced the long week event that started on July 27 and ended on August 2, included Oliver Ngoma from DRC, Jose Chameleon, Ali Kiba among others.
The pan- African dance festival that seeks to promote traditional African dance attracted many traditional dance troupes from Japan, China, Europe, Brazil and Africa as well.
