Maputo — Candidates for Mozambique's third municipal elections, scheduled for 19 November, must register with the National Elections Commission (CNE) between 6 August and 5 September.
Announcing the timetable at a Maputo press conference on Tuesday, CNE spokesperson Juvenal Bucuane said there are two separate stages. Parties, coalitions and independent groups of citizens must register their intention to stand in the elections.
