The opposition Front for Democracy (FPD) stated Wednesday here that its first objective in next 05 September legislative elections is to secure the election of at least three MPs for the future Parliament.

Speaking to ANGOP, Nelson Pestana "Bonavena", the party's director of campaign, said that an eventual result below of the expected one would mean a big defeat for his party.

According to him, his party has ideological and intellectual conditions to compete with the country's main political parties, in the struggle against what he considered "overwhelming majority".

"The main objective is to have a strong group, reaching as many as 10 or 15 deputies", said Nelson Bonavena.
