Luena — The population of Luau district, eastern Moxico province, will get on August 12, a hospital with a capacity to accommodate 100 patients in the different health services.
The rehabilitation works, in the final phase, are part of the Government programme to better and increase delivery of basic social services to the populations.
The hospital will be attending peoples in medical areas such as paediatric, surgery, orthopaedic, first aid unit, gynaecology, obstetrics and radiology "RX", HIV/AIDS voluntary testing and counselling.
According to the chief of the health sector of the district, Jackson Lobate, the centre will contribute to the improvement of medical aid to more than 200,000 habitants of Luau district.
The official guaranteed that among doctors that will work in the hospital are Cubans and Vietnams.
