The ruling MPLA first secretary to Lunda-Norte province, comrade Ernesto Muangala, Wednesday here appealed to the party's militants for a greater engagement for the conquest of votes ahead of coming September 05 legislative elections, Angop has learnt.

Addressing a speech at the official opening of the electoral campaign, in Cuango municipality, the partisan official considered that his party victory, mainly in Cuango district, will depend on mobilizing works being carried out by militants.

He reiterated the need for MPLA to continue governing the country in an environment of peace, to maintain the huge process of national reconstruction, meant to improve the population living standards.
