Uganda: Country to Take Part in World Travel Meet

UGANDA is to take part in the World Tourism Congress and World Travel Fair in Tokyo, Japan, from September 18 to 21.

THE fair will be organised by the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA).

Uganda will be represented by private tour operators like Great Lakes Tours and Travel and Lake Kitandara.

"The fair will give an opportunity for one-to-one meetings with travel companies, travel bureaus and embassies, airlines, hotels andlodges," a newsletter from the Uganda Tourism Board explained.

The fair is also aimed at expanding markets in Japan and Asia for Ugandan tour operators.
