SDF Chairman, John Fru Ndi, has declared that if he is jailed come August 19, President Paul Biya will join him in jail.

Fru Ndi made the statement while addressing SDF militants during the celebration of Vanguard Day at the Bamenda Mankon Stadium on Friday, August 1.Fru Ndi allayed fears of a possible jail term in the case of late Gregroire Diboule's murder, which he is accused of orchestrating.

According to him, President Biya and his men are potential prisoners because they have committed crimes against humanity.Since Biya is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces and the chief of the judiciary, Fru Ndi said Cameroon must be vigilant because anything can happen at any time.

"He has for years been pushing Cameroonians too far and patience is running out. I am in effect calling on the international community, intellectuals and those in high places to hold President Biya responsible for any chaos in this country," Fru Ndi said.

On the current Bakassi crisis, Fru Ndi blamed government for not using dialogue as a tool to solve the problem. Hear him: "Let government dialogue with the population of Bakassi, sensitise them and Bakassi should have residential Divisional Officers."

The SDF Chair blamed government for not developing its borders. He wondered why Bakassi lacks health, educational and social facilities that could have made the indigenes believe that they are Cameroonians and that they belong.

Earlier, Hon. Simon Forbi, MP for Bamenda/Bali, the SDF Northwest Provincial Chairman, Bernard Tabali, and some Northwest SDF mayors, in their speeches, promised to paralyse Cameroon if Fru Ndi is jailed on August 19.

"We are all prepared and we are telling our National Chairman to dump his Bible and allow us act now. Again, let all the SDF militants be prepared to storm Yaounde if what government is prepared to do happens."
