The UPDF has killed 10 Jie Karimojong cattle rustlers in Kaabong district since this month began.

The 3rd Division army spokesman, Capt. Henry Obbo, said the warriors were killed in Kawalakol and Sidok sub-counties and six sub-machine guns recovered.

Obbo added that warriors on Monday waylaid South Sudanese nationals in Kidepo National Park.

The army, he said, responded in time, forcing the warriors to retreat. No one was injured.

Obbo said the army had intensified patrols in the park to guard the Sudanese who shop in Kaabong.
