Ghana: Pure Joy Sure of Middle League Qualification

Kofi Owusu Aduonum

8 August 2008

Despite Real Ebony's conviction of picking the Greater Accra second division Zone 1 sole ticket, their compatriots, Parmalat Pure Joy are equally brimming with optimism to pick the only slot when they take on Mighty Royals in their last game at Prampram tomorrow.

With just a point separating the two, Real Ebony, leading with 33points and Pure Joy closely at their heels with 32 points, the outcome of tomorrow's games will determine who joins the Middle League wagon.

And ahead of the last games, Ebony is claiming they are home and dry to pick the single slot for the Middle League.

But the Public Relations Officer of Parmalat Pure Joy, Mohammed Alhassan of Radio Gold fame believes otherwise, taking into account their readiness to claw all the three points at stake against Royals and the probability of winning their outstanding game against True Democracy.
