Senafe — The inhabitants of Lahyo administrative area, Senafe sub-zone, have now access to potable water supply thanks to the project implemented through the collaboration of the Government and development partners.

The project involved the installation of 160 solar panels, the distribution of over 6 km-long water pipelines and the construction of a pond with a capacity of holding about 30 cubic meters of water, as well as putting in place of hand pumps and other facilities.

The Administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Sium Gebreyesus, explained that the Government is exerting relentless efforts to ensure the provision of potable water supply in remote areas and called on the local inhabitants to make good use of the new facility.
