Angola: Ensarte Exhibition Opens

Luanda — Thirty four painting and sculpture works are on display since Monday at the International Exhibition Hall of the Museum of Natural History, in Luanda, in an initiative of the National Insurance Company of Angola (ENSA), in the light of the 9th edition of the ENSARTE Prize.

Created by various national artists, the works shall be on display until September 12 of the current year.

According to the chairperson of ENSA's management board, Manuel Gonçalves, the exhibition reflects a pictorial and sculptural universe characterised by its vast diversity in terms of style and techniques.

The exhibition is strongly marked by the presence of new talents, mainly youths from the provinces of the country's interior region and by the awarding of the great prize to a young lady, added the official.

Manuel Gonçalves also stated exactly that this reality confirms the fixing of our option through the creation of the special innovating prize for contestants of the geographic regions situated out of the country's capital and the selecting of the topic of peace in the country.

The minister of Culture, Boaventura Cardoso, among other entities, attended the ceremony of the 9th edition of the ENSARTE Prize.
