music review
If you thought only Pentecostals are making a career out of gospel music, think twice as the Christ the King-based Jude Byansi is fast catching up with his Catholic icon Father Musaala.
On Sunday (tomorrow) , Byansi will be launching his second album Nkuyayanira Mukama (God I yearn for you,) at the Youth Sharing Centre in Nsambya. The show will feature among others; Fr. Anthony Musaala, Matovu Junior, Diplock Segawa and Divine Lord.
The gospel artiste who confesses a passion for all inspirational music is also a youth worker who goes about different schools and youth centres with the Holy Family Outreach to preach and guide young people in their spiritual journeys.
His skills at the keyboard that he plays while singing attracts young people, and he says music is an instrument to breakthrough the hearts of most people.
"I do gospel music because it's my lifestyle. I love God and because he has blessed me with a talent, I feel I should share with other people," says Byansi. Byansi's inspirational music is likened to Don Moen's and off his Nkuyayanira Mukama album are songs like Nkyusa (transform me), Send Your Spirit, Njagala Nkulabe Mukama (I want to see you, Lord), Erinyalye Ye Yesu (His name is Jesus) and Use Me Lord.
