Kampala — "My blouse got torn as they were trying to undress me. It was embarrassing. I think they wanted to remove my knickers," a sobbing Kampala woman MP, Nabilah Sempala narrates to the parliament committee probing recent police brutality.

"I had known that our people in Budadiri West are politically orphans. But when he got there, he started fighting the government," President Museveni told a rally in MP Nandala Mafabi's constituency.
Big-hearted Besigye
"If you asked me whether I would offer myself if nominated, the answer I would give, is yes. If I am nominated I will be available," FDC President Kizza Besigye offers to stand again for President in 2011.
