Abdul Karim Koroma

16 August 2008

Freetown — A communiqué signed by the ruling All Peoples Congress (APC) and the opposition Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) has suspended all phone-in programmes aired on We Yone and Unity radio stations respectively.

The statement was signed after the disturbances on Wednesday culminating in crowd trouble at the SLPP head office on Wallace Johnson Street in Freetown.

Both parties condemned the unfortunate incident that took place at the SLPP headquarters and the Mayor's office.
