Angola/Tunisia: National Team Leaves for Tunisia

Luanda — Angola's national team of football is travelling Monday to Monastir city, Tunisia, to play the local side on Wednesday in a friendly game under Fifa, Angop learned.

The national team has been working since Friday in Lisbon, Portugal, under coach Oliveira Gonçalves.

The game is part of the national team's preparation for the game against Benin in Cotonou, on September 7, for the 5th round of the group III qualifying for the African Cup of Nations and the World Cup, in 2010, in Angola and South Africa respectively.

The team includes Lama, Santana, Job, Tunga, Jamuana, Locó, Love Kabungula, Nuno, Jamba, Amaro, Vado, Machado, Kaly, Dedé, Marcos Airosa, Djalma Campos, Mateus Galeano, Luis Delgado and Andre Makanga.

Benin are the group leader with nine points, two more than Angola and Uganda. Niger is at the bottom with none.
