Angola: Illiteracy Fight Programme Secures Better Living

Luanda — Angolan deputy Education minister for Educative Reform, Pinda Simão, Monday in Luanda said that the implementation of the Literacy and School Speed-up Programme (PAAE) of the Education Ministry will ensure sustainability and quality of progressive living of the Angolan citizens.

Speaking during the launch of the first school material of the "liking reading and writing", of the Education Ministry, Pida Simão said that the ongoing success of this goal depends on the participation of all sectors of the Angolan society.

"Each Angolan, within his possibilities, is an Education Ministry's agent in the struggle against illiteracy", stressed the minister, adding that with the implementation of this programme, the Angolan Government is also investing in the democratisation of the education system.
