Luanda — About 7,000 jobs will be created countrywide with the expansion of the "Nosso Super" supermarket network, under the Programme of Structuring of the System of Logistics and Distribution of Essential Commodities (Presild), underway since 2007.
According to Gomes Cardoso, whilst talking to the media, this will be made possible with the opening of 31 supermarkets nationwide, allowing youths to obtain their first employment.
At the moment, the network of Nosso Super supermarkets is made up of 19 establishments, and three more shall be inaugurated this month.
The inaugurations of Nosso Super supermarkets foresees the opening on August 25 in Dundo city (Lunda Norte province), August 26 Menongue (Kuando Kubango), August 29 in Ondjiva (Cunene), September 15 in Benfica and September 30 in Rangel (Luanda), November 30 in Calemba II (Luanda) and on December 15 in Lobito (Benguela).
Gomes Cardoso added that 26,5 percent of the products sold in these supermarkets are produced locally, while the rest are imported from Brazil, Portugal and Asian countries.
